Our Story

Midad is the culmination of more than 20 years of experience in expert Arabic instruction from educators who have worked at institutions such as Qasid in Jordan, ISM, ISAR, EDEP, Ibn Haldun University in Türkiye, and Al-Madina Institute in the USA.

Our Work

Initiation & Development of Education Programs

Midad staff has laid the groundwork for Arabic teaching at ISM, ISAR, EDEP, Ibn Haldun University in Türkiye, and Al-Madina Institute in the USA. All of these programs are running successfully and graduating hundreds of students annually.

Teaching Credentials

Midad's staff and instructors enjoy more than 100 years of combined teaching hours at various universities and institutes.

Curriculum Design & Development

  • Al-Arabiya lil Hayat wal-Turath (Arabic for Life and Culture): Five books from novice low to advanced low. Merges Arabic for daily life and Arabic for classical/theological studies in an engaging atmosphere.
  • Madinat Al-Arabiya (The City of Arabic): Oriented to children aged 8-10. Six demo books published with more forthcoming.

  • 1st Istanbul International Summit on Teaching Arabic for Non-native Speakers, April 25-26, 2015, Istanbul. Organized by ISAR, Qasid, and Al-Najah University. Participated by 25+ scholars including Dr. Mahmoud Al-Batal.
  • 2nd Istanbul International Summit, October 8-9, 2016, Istanbul. Organized by ISAR, 30+ scholars including Dr. Mahdi Al-Oshh, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Assili, and others.
