Curriculum for Kids

Our curriculum is based on the natural way of acquiring a language where the child listens, speaks, reads, and finally writes. We have also considered the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) standards and The American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) standards to divide the language skills within levels regarding the targeted ages. The resulting curriculum  was ‘’The City of Arabic’’ (Madinat Al-Arabiya) curriculum that consists of six books targeting junior learners.

Since our goal was skill-oriented, we selected daily life topics to be in our curriculum and supported them with multiple Islamic values and ethics which makes the Arabic learning process a lifestyle rather than just a language.

Moreover, several listening texts and conversation exercises were added to the curriculum in addition to many linguistic games that enrich the language learning process especially for children.

One of the major themes in our curriculum is the teaching of vocabulary- as it is the basis of the language structure for learners. A vocabulary section was dedicated in our books and enhanced with several exercises and language games as well.

Finally, we tried to build a curriculum that motivates students to love and study Arabic. We use real-life language built on international frameworks to teach languages and support our curriculum with every possible tool.
