What Makes Midad Different

Not a Course. A Path.

Consistent & Flexible Learning

We teach both online and in person, with full-time, part-time, weekend, and private options. Your child keeps learning from anywhere, all year round.

A Clear Path, One Profile

Every student follows one plan with one profile and an ordered curriculum. Your child keeps their level — nothing starts again from zero. They continue from where they stopped, and move up only when ready.

Teachers, Identity & a Real Family

Our teachers are the cornerstone of the program. They build strong connections with children and create a warm environment where every child feels welcome. We build a family, not just a group of students.

Our Curriculum

A Curriculum Developed by Midad Educators

Our curriculum is the result of years of educational experience and continuous refinement by Midad’s team of Arabic language specialists. Rather than relying on commercially published textbooks, we have developed a comprehensive learning program tailored to the needs of non-native Arabic learners.

Every level reflects our educational philosophy: integrating Modern Standard Arabic with practical everyday communication, reinforcing Islamic values, and developing listening, speaking, reading, and writing alongside a solid foundation in grammar.

The curriculum follows a carefully sequenced progression, with each book building on the knowledge and skills acquired in the previous one. Select any book below to explore its learning outcomes and estimated instructional hours.

Built in-house Classroom-tested 4 skills + grammar One ordered path
Stage 1 · Foundations

Riyad Al-Madina Series

Where every beginner starts: Arabic letters, sounds, and first reading & writing skills — built for young learners taking their first steps.

Stage 2 · Levels 1–5

Madina Al-Arabia Series

Five graded levels that take students from confident reading to rich expression — vocabulary, conversation, comprehension, writing, and grammar in one path.

Books & shipping are included in tuition for all group classes and private packages of 20+ hours. Books ship after classes begin, so teachers can confirm each student’s exact level through real classroom interaction first.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

What level of Arabic does my child need?
No previous knowledge of Arabic is required. The program is built to tailor to all student language levels — a free placement interview determines each child’s starting point.
What curriculum does the program follow?
Our curriculum was built in-house by Midad’s own Arabic instructors — the Riyad Al-Madina and Madina Al-Arabia series shown above. It concentrates on the 4 core skills (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension) as well as grammar, in one ordered path.
Are classes based on age or skill level?
Both. It’s important that children are placed in a class that matches their age and their level. A team of Arabic teachers assesses each student and places them in the most appropriate class.
Will my child have breaks during class time?
Yes — longer sessions include short breaks, and each program card above lists its exact break schedule (from an optional 5-minute pause up to two 10-minute breaks for the longest sessions).
What happens if my child misses a class?
Please inform the teacher in advance. The teacher will record the session so your child can catch up on the material. However, if your child is the only student enrolled in that session, the class is considered canceled for that date and no make-up class is provided.
What if I miss a scheduled private tutoring session?
Kindly contact the instructor no later than six hours before the scheduled session. If notice is not given in advance, the lesson is counted as attended.
Can I pause or reschedule private lessons?
Yes. Lessons can be rescheduled with at least 6 hours’ notice. Private packages can also be paused, provided the total time to complete the package doesn’t exceed 1.5× the original package duration. For example, a 20-hour package at two hours per week is expected to finish in 10 weeks, with a maximum extension to 15 weeks — after that, the package is considered completed even if lessons remain.
Do you provide certificates at the end of the program?
Yes — we provide a Certificate of Attendance for students who maintain an attendance rate of over 80%.
What is the cancellation policy?
50% of the tuition is refunded prior to the start of the program. No refunds are given after the program starts unless circumstances warrant consideration. All refund requests should be sent to info@midadalmadina.com.
What happens if the minimum number of students isn’t met?
If the minimum student requirement for a class is not fulfilled, the administration reserves the right to either cancel the class or adjust the lesson duration in a way that best suits the program. Where lessons continue with a reduced duration, fees are adjusted based on Midad’s financial policy.

What Families & Scholars Say

From parents watching their children fall in love with Arabic — to educators who know exactly what a serious Arabic program looks like.

My daughter has been studying with Midad Almadina online classes for over a year, and I’m extremely impressed and proud of her progress. The teachers have an incredible ability to keep my daughter engaged, interested, excited, and looking forward to the class — and my daughter had really little interest at first, which shows how excellent the quality of the teaching is and how deep the relationships are that they build. I only have the highest recommendation for a program where the children are not only learning Arabic, but learning while sitting with teachers they think of as their friends, across the internet. I do not know who else can offer a program, a service, a relationship at this level of quality.

In my experience, Midad’s curriculum and pedagogical approach are unparalleled. It engages all language skills and builds toward fluency efficiently by prioritizing them in the most appropriate manner. The qualifications of the teachers are world-class and they provide an excellent classroom experience tailored to the needs of students. I have seen the results firsthand with our students and highly recommend Midad for anyone seeking to learn Arabic.

★★★★★
After trying many Arabic programs with little success with my 3 children, this program delivers a fantastic experience for non-native Arabic speakers. For the first time I feel like my children are actually learning Arabic and it’s sticking. The teachers and administration are fantastic and the curriculum is second to none. We will be learning with them inshaAllah for many years to come.

I currently have 2 children enrolled in this amazing program and their method of teaching Arabic is fantastic. Their teachers are sincerely caring toward the students’ pace and abilities, and all the teachers are really patient. Arabic is taught in a lively, intelligent, colorful and meaningful way — I hear interaction, question and answer, musical methods and writing employed in teaching. My kids love the quick lesson-related game sessions they have with their teacher.

I have searched for an Arabic program of this quality for quite some time and am so happy to have found Al Madina. Their Arabic teachers are the best I have encountered, with a deep mastery of the language and a genuine care. My teacher is flexible, creative and pushes me to do my best. The lessons are fun, varied and catered to my needs — he even uses the Quran as examples. May Allah SWT bless them and all the work they do.

Alhamdulillah, we have been very pleased with the children’s teachers. They have been engaging and kind and fun. May Allah SWT reward them abundantly for their efforts. We are so grateful for all that they have taught the children and pray that the children can continue to carry this with them and build on it.

I signed up for an intensive — and it definitely was intense. I’ve learned a lot. It was difficult, but I enjoyed that part of it as well. Something special about the way Midad teaches is the way they weave spirituality into the world of academics. And having a community that supports you in all aspects of life — not just with your learning in the classroom, but outside it too. That’s something I really enjoyed with Midad.
